Open mixed Hockey Through to State Finals
24 May 2022 by Rupert Sapwell
On Monday Week 4, Trinity hosted Faith and Kadina Memorial School in the preliminary rounds of the Open Mixed Hockey tournament. The athletes competed exceptionally well throughout the day and ultimately won through due to their exceptional skill, depth and teamwork. There were several highlights including a hat-trick to Brayden in the first match, another to Miki in the second match and a goal scored by Evan as our goalkeeper from a penalty stroke. The team will now progress through to the finals at the State Hockey Centre in week 7. A huge thank you to the Facilities staff for setting everything in place for us so well, and to John Haynes and Nicholas Sharrad for helping with umpiring.
Trinity 6 defeated Faith 1 (Brayden Mrozek 3, Evan Staker 1, Miki Gallie 1, Sam Pelton 1)

Trinity 8 defeated Kadina 1 (Miki Gallie 3, Sam Pelton 2, Brayden Mrozek 1, Felix Lloyd 1, Angus Sloane 1)
